Meet the Owner of Artfully Creative

Meet Stefani Mergen, an elementary education teacher (teaching everything from PreK through 4th grade) that has always loved art! After teaching art online internationally for the last year she has found a way to bring her passion to the community!

She has four of her very own little Picasso's. While looking for local camps for her 3 boys, she saw the need for affordable and engaging programing. Instead of opening a single location, Stefani's goal is to partner with the community to make classes more accessible to Raleigh, and surrounding areas.

You might be asking why she decided to start a mobile art business when she already has a lot going on. And the answer falls to inclusion. Maybe you have noticed the colors of the webpage and logo are blue and gold? That is because they are the colors for Down Syndrome Awareness. In the fall of 2020, Stefani and her husband had their fourth child, Emma Jean. They received a birth diagnosis, and have been blessed every day since! It is another goal of Stefani's to raise awareness, and empower the specially abled community.
